## Packs

### 🎖️ Tiers

Player Packs offer a chance to acquire new player shares and expand your roster through randomized distributions. Each pack contains three players, with share quantities varying by tier.

#### Core Pack – *50 points*

Includes 3 players, each with 25–50 shares.

#### Elite Pack – *100 points*

Includes 3 players, each with 51–100 shares.

### ❄️ Cooldown

Players obtained from packs can be drafted into tournaments immediately, but are subject to a cooldown period before becoming tradable. This cooldown is dynamically linked to user activity, ensuring fair play and reducing automated trading or bot-driven manipulation within the marketplace.


## Players

### 💲 Fees

The platform charges a flat fee of 2% on all player marketplace transactions.

### ⛹🏻‍♂️ Player roster

We are starting with an initial roster of sixty players. As the season progresses, additional players will be integrated based on emerging in-game dynamics, performance trends, and roster relevance. Five players will be available for trading at launch, providing initial liquidity and engagement. Subsequent drops will happen in the coming days in phased releases of 5–10 players at a time. This staggered rollout ensures platform stability and balanced price discovery as the ecosystem continues to evolve.

### 🪙 Player tokenomics

Each player is represented by a dynamic, share-based token that reflects both in-game performance and market sentiment. Each token begins with a starting circulating supply of 1,000,000 shares, while a maximum supply of 10,000,000 shares is reserved for platform incentives, in-game rewards, and broader ecosystem growth initiatives. Token pricing initially follows a bonding-curve model, allowing prices to adjust algorithmically based on real-time demand and trading volume, before transitioning into a traditional Uniswap XYK (constant product) liquidity model to provide deeper liquidity and smoother price discovery.

### 🚀 Boosts

Each player can play up to 3 tournaments. Once exhausted, you can boost them for 1% of your position. There is no deduction for drafted players that did not participate in game. Fees collected via boosts go towards shares buyback.


## Presale

### Status: Concluded ✓

The presale has officially concluded. **100% of proceeds are allocated to player liquidity funding.**

### Refund Distribution

As presale deposit exceeds the amount required for liquidity provisioning, a total refund of **4,832 packs** have been distributed to presale participants' in-game addresses.

## Private Tournaments

### 🔑 Overview

Private tournaments let users create and manage exclusive fantasy competitions among their own groups. Hosts set the tournament parameters, share invite links, control the prize structure and earn fees.

### 🏗️ Tournament Creation

When creating a private tournament, hosts configure:

### 🏀 Joining a Private Tournament

All users can join with an invite link. If the host specifies an entry fee, the entry fees collected go into further expanding the prize pool without platform cut. The tournament concludes when the last game ends and winners will be credited based on their rankings in the tournament.

### 🏆 How are rankings calculated?

Each participant gets 10,000 total shares to draft, you can distribute these however you like across different players. Think of it as a salary cap in traditional fantasy gameplay.

Rankings are calculated based on the following scoring formula: `Σ (Player Fantasy Points × Shares Owned)`.

In plain English: Your score is the sum of each player's fantasy points multiplied by the number of shares you own in that player.

For example, you drafted 4,200 shares of Curry who scored 36 fantasy points and 5,800 shares of Davis who scored 31 fantasy scores → Your total points = (4200 x 36) + (5800 x 31) = 331,000.

> **Note:** Users can switch players and adjust their shares up until the private tournament begins. Once the tournament starts, a snapshot is taken for point calculations and any player trades made after that will not affect your share cap or points.

### 💸 What You Earn

* 20% of your friends' trading fees when they trade your captain
* 10% of their trading fees when they trade any other player

Your friend also earns a 10% fee rebate whenever they trade your captain, everyone wins!

### ⚡ Chain Cascade Bonus

Unlock additional bonus when your referral chain has matching captains! For example:

* You're Team Wemby and refer Alice (Team Wemby). Alice refers Bob (also Team Wemby).
* You earn 20% when Alice trades Wemby and an additional 10% when Bob trades Wemby

The chain bonus goes two layers deep, rewarding you for both Alice and Bob's trades.

### 🔑 How do I use referral code?

Click on a friend's referral link or manually enter the referral code on [https://app.basketball.xyz/referrals](https://app.basketball.xyz/referrals)

You will automatically receive a 10% rebate on fees when you trade your friend's captain. If you already use the app without a referral, you can still add a code manually. Once a referral code is set, it can't be changed.

### 💰 Claiming Your Rewards

Referral and rebate rewards can be claimed instantly if they exceed $100, any amount lower than that can be claimed once every two weeks. Rewards will be sent to in-game wallet directly upon claiming.


## Weekly Tournaments

### 🔑 Overview

Tournaments will be held weekly by BXYZ platform throughout the regular season. Tournament starts every Monday and wraps up on Sunday. Users can draft and edit their squads right up until the first game of each tournament starts.

### 🎯 Drafting

Minimum 1 player is required to draft. The max is capped at 8 players: 3 Guards, 3 Forwards, 1 Center, and 1 player of any position. You can start drafting for the next tournament anytime. Draft page shows a countdown on when the next tournament starts.

### 🤑 Rewards

When the tournament ends, the top 5 players per position (Guard, Forward, and Center) will be chosen. The greater your share of these top players, the more points you will earn!

Points are awarded to the top five players per position as follows:

| 5th   | 8%     |

Any player you own will earn you points if they finish in the Top 5 at their position (Guard / Forward / Center). Drafted players will earn you 50% more points than undrafted ones.

All points will be distributed two hours after the final game concludes, proportional to the number of shares held when the distribution takes place. Points can be used to open packs to win more player shares.

### 🧮 Scoring

Scoring is based on real-world player performance data captured from live games. The scoring framework assigns both fractional and negative values to accurately capture player efficiency and overall impact on the game.

> **Note:** Player scores are cumulative across games. If a player participates in multiple games, their total score will be the sum of all individual game scores.


## How To Play

### 🎴 Collect Player Cards

Collect and trade your favorite players in marketplace to build your squad.

### 📅 Follow the Tournament

Tournament runs every week from Monday to Sunday. At the end of each tournament, the top 5 players per position (Guard, Forward, and Center) will be chosen. The greater your share of these top players, the more points you will earn!

### ✏️ Draft Your Lineup

You can form your lineup by selecting 1 to 8 players: 3 Guards, 3 Forwards, 1 Center, and 1 player of any position. Players in your lineup will be boosted (receive 1.5x more points) if they end up on the leaderboard.

### 🎁 Rip Packs

The points you won can be used to rip packs and win more players.


## Base App Launch - December 17, 2025

## Player Release - November 13, 2025

All remaining players will become available for trading on **November 13 at 8 AM PT**. To ensure fair distribution, each user will have a **$500 purchase limit** during the first five minutes, along with a short cooldown period between transactions.
